Director Lindsey Gore was born and raised on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. She has been training for for seventeen years in contemporary, jazz, lyrical, ballet, hip hop, and tap. She audtioned for her first year of So You Think You Can Dance Season 7 and made it far. She danced and acted in the “Rat Pack” for the state of MS to teach kids the negative effects of tobacco products. She has competed in dance for eleven years and has won several Titles. She has choreographed for talent shows and soloists. She is now attending Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College majoring in Performing Arts and Computer Science, and is a teacher and choreographer for Dance Revolution.
Co-Director Cindy Cheek is an experienced Performer/Instructor in the areas of voice and dance. Her dance training and experience includes a total of over 20 years in tap, ballet, jazz, hip hop, Pointe, lyrical, contemporary, pom, kick, baton, and field routines. She has educated students in dance and vocal performance for 13 years. She owns Dance Revolution Studio of Performing Arts in Ocean Springs where she offers classes and private lessons in all areas of dance, baton, ballroom, vocal/pageant/talent coaching.She judges pageants, dance, and talent competitions/auditions, is an entertainer, choreographer, and entertainment director for various events, choreographs/instructs dance taems, show choirs, ministry teams, drama teams, baton teams, and offers Dance Workshops and choreography.
Instructor Kherington Payne She was born in Whittier, California, and has been taking formal dance lessons since she was 2 years old at Dance Precisions. She specializes in contemporary jazz, and also trained in lyrical, ballet, pointe and gymnastics. At the age of 18 she competed on Season 4 of the hit reality-dance show So You Think You Can Dance and made it to the top ten. She later starred as Alice Ellerton in the 2009 reinvention of the movie Fame. She also teaches at various dance studios and conventions in and around America.
Instructor Nathan Trasoras He began dancing at age 10 and trained at the West Coast School of the Arts in Costa Mesa, California. He became part of So You Think You Can Dance Season 6 at the age of 18. Nathan specializes in contemporary dance. He was also featured in the Glee episode based on Madonna in the Vogue music video. He also likes to play the trumpet and table tennis.
Instructor Joy Spears She was born in Killen, Alabama, and started dancing at the age of three with formal dance training in the field of ballet, jazz, hip hop and lyrical dance. Aside from dancing, she also loves to model, sing and design costumes. She became apart of the Season 2 cast of So You Think You Can Dance at the age of 19. She now choreographs and teaches for many dance studios across America.
Instructor Victor Smalley He is a 21 year old contemporary dancer from Miami, Florida, and has only been dancing for five and a half years. His first passion was art, but he was inspired by his mother to start dancing. Victor owns a studio in Miami called STARS Dance Studio. He is deeply passionate about what he does and loves his students. He was also apart of the Season 6 So You Think You Can Dance cast at the age of 21.
Instructor Mollee Gray She is a dancer, actress and singer from Utah. She started dancing at age 3 at the Winter School in Salt Lake City. When she was 14 she auditioned for High School Musical and ended up being a featured dancer. She then auditioned for High School Musical 2 and the feature film: High Scool Musical 3 and became a principal dancer. She made Season 6 of So You Think You Can Dance at age 18 and made it to the semi-finals. She aspires to pursue acting and singing, along with her dancing. Her first acting role is on the film "Friends with Benefits" starring Ashton Kutcher and Natalie Portman, to premiere in 2011.
Instructor Allison Holker She began her training at The Dance Club in Orem, Utah at the age of nine. She quickly fell in love with the art and began to specialize in Contemporary, Ballet, Jazz and Tap dancing. In 2005 she won National Senior Outstanding Dancer at the New York City Dance Alliance. She has performed live with Earth, Wind & Fire and in the opening and closing ceremonies at the Utah Olympics in 2002. She later had the opportunity to be a cheerleader in the hit Disney movies High School Musical 1 & 2. She was also apart of So You Think You Can Dance Season 2 at the age of 18. She can now be found teaching with different dance conventions and workshops all across the country.
Instructor Jaimie Goodwin She started dancing at the age of seven and trained in different styles such as tap, ballet and jazz for twelve years, and then studied musical theater, pointe and contemporary lyrical dance for seven more years. She classifies her style and techniques as either jazz or contemporary lyrical dance. She has performed in numerous musical theater productions and public functions, among them a benefit event in London, England for the group Dancers Responding to AIDS. At the age of 19 she was also apart of So You Think You Can Dance Season 3. She intends to do commercials or try to get into film within the next ten years. Instructor Ashley Valerio
